Weekly Player Development · Grades 3–12
Train with purpose.
Transform your game.
Structured weekly basketball development for athletes ages 8–18 who are ready to train consistently, accept coaching, and progress beyond recreational basketball.
Who It’s For
For athletes
ready for more.
Players do not need to arrive advanced. They need to be ready to listen, work consistently, accept coaching, and challenge themselves.
Train & Transform is designed for young athletes who enjoy basketball but are ready to move beyond casual or recreational participation.
Your athlete may be ready if they:
Want to improve—not simply participate
Can follow structured instruction and accept feedback
Are willing to practice skills repeatedly and consistently
Want to prepare for school, club, or competitive basketball
Approximately ages 8–18. Training placement may also consider experience, skill level, physical readiness, and developmental needs.
Whole-Player Development
More than drills.
Development that transfers.
Every session connects skill development with the confidence, decision-making, and discipline athletes need to keep progressing.
Fundamentals
Develop reliable footwork, ball control, passing, shooting, finishing, defense, and movement through purposeful repetition.
Basketball IQ
Learn to recognize space, read defenders, make stronger decisions, and apply practiced skills in live situations.
Confidence
Build trust in practiced skills through preparation, constructive feedback, measurable progress, and productive challenges.
Discipline
Strengthen focus, accountability, consistency, and the training habits needed to improve on and off the court.
Experience the Academy
Start with a
free trial.
First-time participants can experience the same coaching, structure, and expectations as enrolled Academy athletes before choosing a weekly training plan.
The trial also gives our coaches an opportunity to understand your athlete’s experience, goals, readiness, and appropriate training placement.

Before you begin.
Does my athlete need competitive experience?
No. Athletes do not need previous competitive experience to join. They should be willing to listen, work consistently, accept coaching, and take their development seriously.
Is the Academy appropriate for beginners?
Yes. Motivated beginners can benefit from the Academy when they are ready for structured instruction and purposeful repetition. Training placement helps provide an appropriate level of challenge.
How are athletes placed into training groups?
Placement may consider grade, age, basketball experience, skill level, physical readiness, and developmental needs. This helps coaches create a productive training environment for each group.
Should we choose one or two days per week?
One day per week provides a consistent development foundation. Two days provides more repetition, coaching feedback, and live application for athletes ready for a greater commitment.
Is Train & Transform a team program?
No. Train & Transform is a weekly player-development program. Athletes looking for structured practices, games, tournaments, and team competition should explore Deen Team Basketball.
What should athletes bring to training?
Athletes should arrive prepared to train in appropriate basketball clothing and shoes. If possible, please bring a water bottle.
